Manuel Antonio combines one of Costa Rica’s finest beach destinations with a small yet exuberant National Park, and only 3½ hours away from the City of San Jose.
Aside from enjoying the light-colored sandy beaches inside this protected area, you’ll be able to explore the different trails, accompanied by your specialized tour guide. This place shelters a vast number of animal species. Most frequently seen are: Coatimundis, squirrel monkeys, white faced monkeys, agoutis, sloths, bats, crabs, aquatic birds and a great variety of insects and butterflies.
To take maximum advantage of your time, departure will be early in the morning (6:00 a.m.) and you should expect to be back at 7:00 p.m. approximately. Both breakfast and lunch, as well as the entrance fee to the park, are included.
